SMIC Autoparts And Mandhira Kapur Honoured

It was a big night for everyone involved with SMIC Autoparts after the company, and its Managing Director, were given awards at the Global Business Conclave 2022.
The event held at the House of Lords, in London, saw MD of SMIC Autoparts, Mandhira Kapur, scoop the Best Emerging Leader 2022 award. And SMIC Autoparts Private Limited (SMPL) take home a trophy for the Best Emerging Brand 2022.
The conclave was attended by many Honourable Lords & Members of Parliament from UK including Lord Swaraj Paul (House of Lords), Lord Meghnad Desai (House of Lords), Baroness Paula Odin (House of Lords), Mr. Virendra Sharma (Member of Parliament UK) and other dignitaries from the UK Parliament.

Mandhira Kapur was joined by members of her family for the event, along with some of the team from start-up, SMIC Autoparts, and the SMIC Autoparts Think Tank. Other award-winners and delegates from some of the biggest Indian-owned companies from India, the Middle East, Africa and the USA had also flown in for the event.
Mandhira was invited to a panel of fellow female entrepreneurs for an exclusive fireside chat to inspire more women to follow their business dreams (Pictured below).
Speaking about the event, Mandhira Kapur, said: “It was a real honour to pick up my award for Best Emerging Leader 2022, but as I always say it’s all about the people you work with. So to see SMIC Autoparts honoured as one of the Best Emerging Brands was a tribute to all my teams' hard work.
While only a handful of us was able to attend the event in person, we felt the presence of each and every one of our employees with us. Without their hard work, we would not be in a position to get this recognition, so I would like to say a personal thank you to them.
As a female entrepreneur in a male dominated business it was encouraging to share the stage with other incredible businesswoman and share our stories. I can’t wait to see what comes next in 2023”.
NIgel Birch (pictured below) from the SMIC Autoparts Think Tank picked up the award for Best Emerging Brand on behalf of SMIC Autoparts.
